I love the quote "Find what it is that you like to do and do your best at it." How true that is.

But just as important as it is to satisfy clients in the professional arena, people are more than just one dimensional.

I believe it is important to give back to the community. Over the years, I have been involved in various organizations, such as Hope House, Habitat for Humanity and the American Heart Association among others.  One in particular is the Sunshine Kids. I am more than pleased that this organization is also a Prudential Real Estate Affiliates, Inc adopted organization. Since 1991, Prudential Real Estate Affiliates has volunteered and donated so much to this organization by planning events and fundraisers on both a local and national level.

If you don't know,  The Sunshine Kids Foundation is a non-profit organization that tries to add to the quality of life to children with cancer. They provide group activities, trips and events for as many young patients as possible.

Every year for the past several years, Prudential Alliance, Realtors® has organized a huge Barn Sale in mid-June. Agents and managers from our seven offices donate everything from a farm with a barn in the heart of wine country to volunteers to collect items to be put up for sale, to pricing, baking, and helping with the tear down and clean up.

This past year Prudential Alliance, Realtors® seven offices raised over $17,000 for The Sunshine Kids. Our barn sale this year will be on Friday, June 16 and Saturday, June 17, 2006, and  hopes to be just as successful.
